Preschoolers who attend Oasis Drew University summer camp will experience a magical summer of fun, in what is often a first-time camp experience. Our dedicated staff ensures a smooth transition to camp life for children and parents at our beautiful Madison, NJ location.
Located on the bucolic campus of Drew University, summer camp is an opportunity for children to learn new skills and embrace new experiences. We make trying new things easy for kids because every Oasis camp is a safe and inclusive environment that provides a community of caring mentors, a sense of belonging and lots of fun.
Preschoolers participate in the Early Start Imagination Camp program, designed by early childhood educators. This program meets the emotional, social and physical needs of preschool and kindergarten children between the ages of three and five who are fully potty-trained.
Children in Early Start Imagination Camp get the full Oasis Drew University summer camp experience but with extra one-on-one instruction and age appropriate activities. We have a counselor to camper ratio of 1:3 in this program, and structure each day to include smaller activities and also build in plenty of time for breaks, snacks, and a nap.
There are more than 100 acres of majestic nature trails and preserves at Oasis in Madison that are the perfect setting for outdoor adventures. The campus also has amazing Division II athletic fields where kids can learn how to play sports such as soccer or kickball. Our coaches teach kids how to pass, shoot and score while stressing sportsmanship and fair play.
Just the right mix of learning and recreation.
Preschoolers attending camp are experiencing many firsts, and swimming might be one of them. Kids can learn to swim - rain or shine – in the indoor pool in the athletic complex that is solely devoted to Oasis campers. Our American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program is an opportunity for your child to learn how to swim or hone their skills under the supervision of our aquatics director, instructors and lifeguards.
There are plenty of activities to try inside our air-conditioned facilities when temperatures rise or rain is in the forecast. We encourage kids to let their creativity shine in arts and crafts, music, dance and theater programs lead by our experienced instructors and tailored to our youngest campers.
Preschoolers also participate in our “Ready for September” school-year readiness program. This includes low stress, academically oriented activities that prepare kids for the social elements and routines associated with being in a structured group setting.
There’s never a dull moment at Oasis Drew University Summer Camp! It’s a place where kids can be kids and have the best summer of their lives.
