Magical weeks of fun, unsurpassed facilities, and experiences they’ll remember forever are just a few of the reasons why kids want to attend Oasis LIU Post summer camp.
Our premier Oasis Long Island summer camp is located on 300 stunning acres of the LIU Post campus on the North Shore in Brookville. Our camp provides kids with a true oasis in Long Island. Oasis serves families in Dix Hills, Plainview, Syosset, Jericho, Manhasset, Port Washington, Roslyn, New Hyde Park, Melville, West Hills, Old Bethpage, Farmingdale, Huntington and the surrounding towns of Nassau County and Western Suffolk County. We offer transportation on air-conditioned school buses and we provide hot lunch service for all campers.
Oasis LIU Post day camp offers campers a well-rounded mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Kids in Early Start Imagination Camp, Lower Day Camp, Upper Camp, and Teen Travel all spend plenty of time outdoors exploring the natural woodlands and playing on the NCAA Division II athletic fields and tennis courts. There’s also an option to sign up for horseback riding lessons through an exclusive partnership with Oasis Long Island University and the LIU Post Equestrian Center.
On rainy days or when the temperatures rise, there’s plenty of room for camp activities inside with air-conditioning at our Oasis Long Island day camp. All campers have exclusive access to the indoor eight-lane salt water swimming pool. Younger campers participate in our American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program and everyone can hone their skills under the supervision of our aquatics director, instructors and lifeguards.
Trying new things is part of summer camp fun, and we offer hip-hop or jazz dance classes in the Pratt Recreation Center Dance Studio or kids can learn to code in the computer lab. Campers can also learn what it takes to broadcast a radio show by getting hands-on experience at the LIU Post radio station. We also screen kid-friendly movies at the college campus movie theater.
But the main reason why kids want to attend Oasis LIU Post summer camp is because we provide a community of caring mentors, a sense of belonging, lots of fun, and the opportunity to make friendships that last forever.
