We got game!
Oasis campers can get off the bench and get in the game this summer with Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks! The constant action, running up and down the court, and having the opportunity to play offense and defense are just a few of the reasons why basketball has always been a favorite at Oasis.
Now kids will have the chance to improve their game by taking a special basketball clinic with the 7’1” center on the New York Knicks. Mitchell will run basketball clinics at the following Oasis day camps for the 2019 summer season:
All campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of basketball drills that last about 30 minutes each. Kids will also learn about the importance of sportsmanship and fair play whether you’re playing basketball in the NBA or at camp.
Running, jumping, dribbling, passing and catching are a lot of fun, but kids also get an amazing workout from playing basketball. Improved motor skills are just one of the many benefits of playing basketball – it also improves flexibility, endurance and coordination.
