"This is the third summer that we have participated at Oasis in Tarrytown. My kids thoroughly enjoy spending the summer there and feel very comfortable with their surroundings. They love Katie, the site director, and for the past three years, have had great counselors who are very engaged and take good care of the children. "This was the most fabulous experience for my son. Everything about the camp was top notch. The counselors were terrific - even the ones not assigned to Luke's group knew his name in the first few days. And the head counselor, Adam, was one of the best people I've ever seen around kids - my son is so shy, yet he really bonded with Adam. The activities were great too - and I love how easily the staff adapted to whatever happened - when the pool was closed they just created a whole week of water activities! I've worked in the camp/afterschool world for many years, and this is the best program I have ever seen. Make sure you come back next year!"

Whoever does the hiring really did a great job in picking out the cream of the crop. I can't stop talking about how nice and personable they all were. My children really miss them and can't wait until next summer when they will see them again. We couldn't have asked for more. We actually extended our stay for an extra two weeks! P.S. We recently passed by a pizzaria and my children saw their camp counselors inside the window eating. They ran to the window and all of the counselors ran out to hug them! They made them feel so special. I was watching while they talked and laughed with them for quite a while before going back inside to finish their meal. What a wonderful feeling that was for both me and my children. These people you hired were exceptional, please bring them all back next year (and give them a raise!)."

"I just want to say that the best part of OASIS is the staff. The way I recommend Oasis at Christopher Morley Park is to tell people that the camp counselors make it a GREAT camp. The "underground" is not a fancy clubhouse that other more expensive camps on the North Shore feature ... so on rainy or hot days, it lacks what other camps have (like air conditioning) ... but with camp counselors who seem to really like what they do, that makes OASIS a super camp."
