Meet our Director
Jason began his career with Oasis as program director of Oasis On the Sound this past summer. He grew up here on Long Island, and graduated from Chaminade High School, and then Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Jason spent over a decade in finance before turning to his true passion, working with children and sports, especially soccer. Jason has been married for over 19 years and has three children.
Having volunteered with his own three children, he'd heard from many parents that most volunteers don't fully understand the sports they're instructing, and most professional trainers don't really care about the children - Jason however knows sports, and cares about children. From 2003 until today, Jason obtained all certifications necessary to work with children in NY public schools, parochial schools, and United States Soccer Federation members. He's run both soccer and multi-sport clinics for pre-school children as young as 2 to college men in their 20's. Jason is the founder/president of a youth soccer training academy, FC Inter Soccer, Inc. He has directed camps, clinics, and training sessions for NOGA soccer throughout Long Island, Manhasset High School, St. Mary's High School, Garden City Park Soccer, Lynbrook/East Rockaway Soccer, Unlimited Sports Action, and teams from New Hyde Park, Manhasset, and Port Washington, among others. He has also run sessions in pre-schools for Happy Feet, adaptive programs for special needs children, and he coaches the StonyBrook University Men's Club Soccer team, which this November he just led to the 21st Annual NIRSA National championships in Memphis, Tennessee.
