Dear Oasis at Michael J. Tully Park Families,

We hope this letter finds your family well.

As some of you are aware the aquatics facility at Michael J. Tully Park is going to be closed for renovations for Summer 2008.

In order to continue to enhance your child's summer experience with Oasis, we have been able to turn a negative into a positive. For Summer 2008, we are happy to announce we will be moving the swim component of your child's day to nearby Clinton G. Martin Pool, located on 1601 Marcus Ave in New Hyde Park, a short 3 minute drive from Tully Park. Children will be easily transported to the pool in yellow Oasis school buses for their swim time then returned to Michael J. Tully Park to enjoy the rest of their day. The Clinton G. Martin pool is a fantastic, private, outdoor, swim facility, just under Olympic size standards that consists of a deep diving area and more fun features for our campers! The facility will dedicate a large section of the pool specifically for Oasis lessons and free swim - all day, every day.

We will still be using Michael J. Tully Park for the Oasis camp headquarters as well as the wonderful ball fields and other recreational facilities the Park has to offer.
