SUMMER PROGRAMS
Registered Campers
Once you've received confirmation of your camper's registration for Summer 2010, there are just a few more things to do.
1. After you have registered your child, there are a few additional steps for you to complete before your child begins camp this summer. One of the additional pre-camp forms is a Health form. **The Health Forms cannot be completed online, they must be completed and signed by a physician** To download and print the Health form, select your camp name from the list above and click on the Health form for that Oasis location.
To download and print the Health Form, click on the name of the Oasis program your child is registered for below and return the completed forms to Oasis 20 Jay Street, Suite 802, Brooklyn, NY 11201 or fax (718) 855-2435. Forms are available here:
Oasis in Central Park and Hi-5
Oasis Downtown
Oasis in Bayside
Oasis in Dobbs Ferry
Oasis in Madison
Oasis on the North Shore
Oasis at Nickerson Beach
Oasis in Brooklyn / Camp TWU
Oasis Teen Travel
2. We will send a Welcome Letter to you with information about your child's camp. This letter will include drop off and pick up locations at camp, as well as phone, fax and email information for contacting your camp staff once camp begins. It will also have information about a pre-camp parent orientation night at your child's camp.
3. Camper list. Each day of camp your camper should have the following:
- Oasis camper T-shirt (we provide these)
- Shorts
- Socks and sneakers
- Bathing suit
- Towel
- Lunch
Optional items:
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Sandals or flip-flops (to wear to/from the pool only)
- Any special medications your child may need
For younger campers, we suggest sending an extra pair of shorts, socks and underwear labeled and packed in a plastic zipper-type bag with your child on their first day of camp. We can keep these in our camp office to use in case of accidents, and can return it on the last day of your child's enrollment.
4. Don't forget to label your camper's belongings! All Oasis camper T-shirts look alike- at the end of every summer, we have a large collection of camper T-Shirts, shoes, towels, bathing suits, lunchboxes, etc. that end up in our Lost and Found. If these items are labeled, we can return them to families; but without a label, it's difficult for us to determine where they belong. We end up donating things to charity, and campers end up without their belongings. Don't add to our Lost and Found collection- label all of your camper's items so we can return them to you. If you want a fun and easy way to label all of your camper's things, check out our link at labeldaddy.com. You can also use the labels for school and travel items or anything you want returned to you if it's lost.

5. Select a bus stop location. If your camper will be using our busing service and you have not yet selected a bus stop location, please complete the Transportation form with the bus stop location you will be using, and return it to us before April 1st, 2010.
6. Talk to us! If you have any special circumstances or concerns you want to communicate to us, please contact the phone numbers or email address on your Welcome Letter and let us know. We try to reach out to all families prior to camp to introduce ourselves and check in with you, but if you haven't heard from us yet, feel free to contact us! The more information we have about your camper, the more prepared we are to provide the best camp experience for them.
7. Check out our FAQ page on our website. It will help you with some of our most frequently asked questions. If you still have questions, email or call us- we're happy to help!
